Dedicated visa for technology startup founders who incorporate in Korea, have a relevant bachelor's degree, intellectual property rights or equivalent skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree (only Korea) or Global Start-up Immigration Center Letter

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree (only Korea) or Recommendation Letter (from Korean gov)

  • 60 or more points (at least one required item should be included)

In cases where there are multiple instances of intellectual property ownership (registration), inventions, or applications, duplicate entries are allowed within a maximum of 60 points. (However, for intellectual property applications, a maximum of 10 points will be recognized regardless of the number of applications submitted.


If intellectual property rights are owned (registered), invented, or applied jointly with others (e.g., citizens, foreigners, organizations, corporations, etc.), or if an individual has participated in the OASIS 6 or 9 programs, government startup support programs, or secured investments of 100 million KRW or more, the corresponding score will be divided equally among the joint participants

1)An individual who received 30 million KRW or more in funding from a central agency but lacks the requirements for point-based exemption, such as a minister's recommendation or a 2-year recognition period.
2)Past stay history is recognized. If E-3 (Research) and E-1 (Professor) visa durations total over two years, points are recognized.

3)An individual verified and recommended by the Global Startup Immigration Center for receiving an investment of 100 million KRW or more from AC, VC.
4)Holders of intellectual property rights registered in OECD countries are exempt from OASIS 2 training and eligible for points recognition.
